Mesilla Valley Economic Alliance Development - The Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) is a public/private sector partnership that provides economic development services to this vibrant and growing area in southern New Mexico. Rocket Racing League - To be held at venues across the country, the Rocket Racing League. will feature multiple races pitting up to 10 Rocket Racers. going head to head in a 4-lap, multiple elimination heat format on a 5-mile "Formula One"-like closed circuit raceway in the sky. The Rocket Racer pilots see the "raceway in the sky" via in-panel and 3D helmet displays. For the hundreds of thousands of fans in attendance, they will witness the racing action live and in real-time display on multiple large screens.

Las Cruces Country Club Golf Course - Las Cruces Country Club is a semi-private Country Club and Golf Course providing a more than challenging round of golf and fellowship. We have always been the friendliest golf course in New Mexico. We have a long tradition and many long-time members, but what best defines us is our hospitality to new members and the broad spectrum of our membership which cuts across all racial, ethnic, and economic lines. The founders wanted this club to be affordable, and the membership has kept it so.

 

NMSU: University Golf Course - Regarded as one of the most outstanding facilities in the Southwest, the NMSU Golf Course has played host to 3 NCAA National Championships along with numerous conference and USGA qualifying championships. Highlighted by beautiful scenery, the 18-hole NMSU Golf Course is framed by the majestic Organ Mountains to the east and the picturesque Mesilla Valley to the west. Measuring over 7000 yards from the "Aggie Tees," the golf course provides a challenge to golfers of all skill levels.

 

Picacho Hills Golf Course - The nearly 7,000 yard, par 72 Golf Course at Picacho Hills is sure to impress you. Pro Turf Magazine described our course ¿s lush blue grass fairways and bent grass greens as follows: ¿Picture an emerald lying on a mound of sand¿dark green, shining jewel in striking contrast with it¿s surroundings. That¿s the first impression of the Picacho Hills Country Club golf course.¿ During an average year, inclement weather closes the course less than three days.

 

Sonoma Ranch Golf Course - For great golf in the Southern New Mexico desert, there is one top course to play -- Sonoma Ranch. Opened in 2000, this spanking new course offers challenging golf and spectacular scenery amidst the mesquite and brush covered desert. It won a Best New Course nomination from Golf Digest in 2000 and holds a 3-1/2 out of 4 star ranking in its Places to Play list. "Incredible views ... tough greens ... every hole a challenge," Golf Digest says.

Holloman Air Force Base - Holloman Air Force Base was originally established in 1942 as Alamogordo Air Field six miles west of Alamogordo, New Mexico. It was re-named in 1948 after Col.
