Las Cruces Near the Top Once Again

 

Las Cruces has, yet again, found its way onto another Top 10 list. U.S. News & World Report has

 named Las Cruces as the No. 6 city in the country on its "10 Cities for Real Estate Steals" list that

was published online recently.  According to the publication, "The housing market in Las Cruces

has become increasingly undervalued in recent years ... the area's price-to-income ratio has fallen ...

Las Cruces' population is expected to grow twice as fast as the rest of the country's"

 

The Las Cruces Association of Realtors reports that the median price of homes sold in 2009 was

 $164,190, down from $180,000 in 2008.
